A little update

When I decided to create a blog, I remembered promising myself I would update it daily. I would wow the masses with my otaku expertise. I would use it to motivate myself to keep pumping out fanart and level up my skills. I would link all my favourite websites and force people to love the things I love, because people who are not me obviously have drab lives and clearly if they have never heard of Questionable Content, then they are either toddlers new to computers, or they have been living under an internet rock.

Because who hasn’t heard of QC? Especially those who read comics online during work hours It’s one of the longest running webcomics around. Just click on the link. And bear in mind, while you read through the first 300 strips or so, that Jeph Jacques really improves over the years. So don’t brush this off, saying you only read comics for the art (really? Just for the drawings? You don’t care if the story is completely racist or boring or a bit creepy so long as the hair is flowing just right?). It has a genuinely interesting plotline and character development and talking robots. I want one of those! And really, I’m mostly in it for the drama. There are others who like it for the rude jokes and nerd talk (I, too, am also one of those people) and they can be all, “I understand what he’s talking about, I play WoW, too!! We are kindred spirits!” Again, this kind of thing hooks me in because it makes me feel special like he’s sharing an inside joke.
Wow, went off track there, didn’t I?
Anyway, this post is an apology to those who demanded more posts, closer together and constant-like. I just started working and I’m currently taking driving lessons so I can finally get a driving license and drive off into the sunset, so my free time to think of witty stuff to talk about, has been pretty sparse. Actually, I barely have free time to do anything fun-like. And we all know how organized I am with time.
So, yes. Here’s my plan. Minimum 5 posts a week. About random things. And I’m not even going to think about what a proper blog should be like, because I think that’s giving me writer’s block, what with all the pressure of having to do this right.
And don’t think I haven’t been drawing. I sketched a couple things a few weeks ago and I’ve been dying to upload them because
HEY GAIZ I’M REPLAYING FF8. Let’s all get out our copies and reminisce together!

I really need to change my header. I’m starting to cringe every time I look at it.
